There is a world of difference between comparing *public figures getting pushback on their stated views* to putting people in concentration camps, and comparing *putting people in concentration camps* to putting people in concentration camps.

Say what you will about Disney (and there is lots to say), but I don’t think they’re worried here. Ben Shapiro’s movie will be unwatchable crap on the level of Kirk Cameron and Dinesh D’Souza. Because it turns out spite is not a substitute for a basic knowledge of filmmaking.

It did what it could to problematize cops while still being 100% a cop show about wacky cops. It’s the genre’s problem rather than this specific show’s.

I wonder if this makes it easier for them to blow up the central premise of the show and have everyone quit the force (or something similar). I figured they weren’t going to do that, but if you don’t have to worry about how your choices affect the next season, you can write a season-long arc where the characters all…

Debbie was funny though. For some bizarre reason they dumped her after a few episodes. Instead of her being a dirty cop, we should have had more bizarre back stories about her avenging her dead relatives.

Probably for the best. The show, despite losing its worst character, has still been unable to really creatively continue for a while now with a reliance on the same episodes cropping up almost every season.

You should be disturbed that so many big-name directors lust for their audiences’ death.  Movie theaters are just about the worst environment to be in with regard to the fucking plague that shows no signs of abating.  If directors want their movies to be seen, they shouldn’t demand their audiences risk their lives to…
