Is that you Chuck Lorre?

Does he just not understand how acting works that he has to have his own name said to him every time or is it a conceit of the original show built around him and how he got to be a huge asshole because of it?

Kevin James feels like he’s built to be forever 70, just nestled into that crappy CBS multi-cam making jokes

It’s basically this . . .

When your personal politics are so far right that late-stage capitalism looks leftist...

There is a world of difference between comparing *public figures getting pushback on their stated views* to putting people in concentration camps, and comparing *putting people in concentration camps* to putting people in concentration camps.

I don’t know who most of those are, but Ethan Van Sciver is an idiot and it figures he’s have this kind of a mornonic take on both ends of the field.

Say what you will about Disney (and there is lots to say), but I don’t think they’re worried here. Ben Shapiro’s movie will be unwatchable crap on the level of Kirk Cameron and Dinesh D’Souza. Because it turns out spite is not a substitute for a basic knowledge of filmmaking.

It did what it could to problematize cops while still being 100% a cop show about wacky cops. It’s the genre’s problem rather than this specific show’s.

I wonder if this makes it easier for them to blow up the central premise of the show and have everyone quit the force (or something similar). I figured they weren’t going to do that, but if you don’t have to worry about how your choices affect the next season, you can write a season-long arc where the characters all

Debbie was funny though. For some bizarre reason they dumped her after a few episodes. Instead of her being a dirty cop, we should have had more bizarre back stories about her avenging her dead relatives.

Probably for the best. The show, despite losing its worst character, has still been unable to really creatively continue for a while now with a reliance on the same episodes cropping up almost every season.

Wait are we actually calling cable channels “cablers” now? I thought that was just Variety being weird.

“I mean what did she expect dressing that way” - Manson’s Lawyer

So Marilyn Manson is exactly who he always seemed to be, except it’s not the 90s anymore and creepy narcissism is no longer a profound artistic statement about Puritanism or something, it’s just creepy narcissism. Antichrist go fuck yourself.

You should be disturbed that so many big-name directors lust for their audiences’ death.  Movie theaters are just about the worst environment to be in with regard to the fucking plague that shows no signs of abating.  If directors want their movies to be seen, they shouldn’t demand their audiences risk their lives to

Good luck to any big name directors getting any work considering that Disney/Fox and some of the other major studios seem to going in the same direction as the alternative is.....Netflix.

I agree that it appears the way they did it, without consulting with directors and producers sort of sucks, but I am thinking it was actually a very smart move...this pandemic isn’t ending any time soon, and the alternatives aren’t great.   Release movies only in theaters, where they will get only a fraction of the

They’ll do just fine, they’ve got loads of cash.
