Havlock, you’re making an argument without having a point. Many franchises have existed in many different mediums. Batman was a success in the live action movies and yet many fans say that his depiction in the animated series is the best depiction of the character yet. Again, an animated series on a kids channel.

Uhmm, you know that Blade Runner the movie is based on Phillip K Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, right?

I feel ya Gundam. Sometimes you just lay down in bed and fire your vulcans until you fall asleep.

The only demon with acting experience is the wrong color and is busy taking the US to hell in an orange tiny hand basket.

Yeah, bro. Let’s make a comment where we appear to take the side of forcing women to watch you jack off. And get more upset about the definition of assault than the possibility of a man with a lot of power forcing women to watch him jack off. As long as our priorities are straight.

No. This article is glossing over some details about a pretty confusing issue.

I can’t remember if it was in an interview or on the DVD commentaries, but Dan Harmon had an interesting comment on this kind of thing for Community. I may be misremembering some of it, but I believe it went thusly: As a smaller show, the network(/studio?) used it to try and up their diversity quota, and so insisted

I both sympathize with the homeowners for having to deal with the situation, AND find their response ridiculous.

You probably need to learn what Cyberpunk is if you think 5E is Cyberpunk. Yeah it is dumb fun, that doesn’t make it a bad movie it’s what made it a great movie.

You don’t seem to want to fight any fight. You just want to go watch movies and be done with it. That’s fine. Do that. But other people are trying to move the discourse forward while you chide them for not treating Hollywood like it’s a puppy.

You’re the “Just wait, go slower, be happy for limited integration, a little school choice, a few jobs, etc.”

3 straight critical flops? The first Amazing Spider-Man received a rotten tomatoes score of 72% and was deemed certified fresh. I wouldn’t consider that a critical flop.

Kate Capshaw screaming “Indy Indy Indy Indy Indy” over and over for 2 hours...the stuff of nightmares, Temple of Doom was, the stuff of nightmares...

It’s been a long time since I saw TOD, but I do remember the blonde lady was very annoying with all her screaming and general wimpiness, especially compared to Karen Allen’s great character.

Also, Temple of Doom has a terrible female lead. The character of Marion in Raiders is completely bad ass and smart while Willie Scott in Temple of Doom is this hot mess of a character who is at best a cliche. I swear that half of Willie’s dialog is just shrieking in terror.
