Havlock, you’re making an argument without having a point. Many franchises have existed in many different mediums. Batman was a success in the live action movies and yet many fans say that his depiction in the animated series is the best depiction of the character yet. Again, an animated series on a kids channel.

It’s been a long time since I saw TOD, but I do remember the blonde lady was very annoying with all her screaming and general wimpiness, especially compared to Karen Allen’s great character.
Also, Temple of Doom has a terrible female lead. The character of Marion in Raiders is completely bad ass and smart while Willie Scott in Temple of Doom is this hot mess of a character who is at best a cliche. I swear that half of Willie’s dialog is just shrieking in terror.
