They are overused, horribly so, to the point where repeatedly accusing people who are not sexist or racist of being sexist and racist provides cover for people who truly are sexist and racist, who merely chalk up credible accusations to the vagaries of PC culture.

I’ve seen this argument before but I actually don’t see the connection between the failure of Hillary’s campaign and the implied failure of “New Democrat”/Bill Clinton-esque Third Way politics.

It’s also weird when someone’s retort to warnings about nuclear war includes citing messianic prophecies and shit about End Times.

And who’s going to make them? Answer: not millennials, because 1) they don’t vote, and 2) the ones who did in 2016 disproportionately voted for Gary Johnson and Jill Stein.

The philosopher?

Yep. Like many of us I’ve been thinking about what the Democrats did wrong in this campaign (and they did commit some serious strategic blunders). And then I think about what they can do to win those voters next time.

LOL. True!

It’s really rich to see Jordan Sargent act offended, especially given that this is Jordan Sargent we’re talking about. The guy who aided and abetted an extortionist by outing a private citizen.

So-and-so “is not a friend of the left” and therefore “you don’t need to take him seriously”.

Wish I could star this more than once.

Worse. If they were running a prevent defense they would have spent all of their time in the firewall states, like Michigan, Wisconsin, PA, and NH, and wouldn’t have wasted their time in Arizona, Georgia, or even Ohio and Iowa.

Stop using race to shame people.

I don’t know, Ashley. You (personally) said he was going to drop out of the race. You said he was going to suffer an embarrassing electoral defeat. You were wrong about everything. To be clear, lots of people were wrong, so it’s not just you. But maybe you can reconsider making declarative statements or predictions

And I’m not one to express affection over political correctness, but after reading other comments here now I’m curious... what exactly do you mean by “tallest midget”?

Well, what is it that you want? If this truly is an example of a large corporation treating its employees well, then... what? Should they all be making a million dollars? Is it by definition unethical that they make less than the CEO?

Suppose I am someone who wants to supplement my income by driving Uber in my free time. I am perfectly content with the current agreement.

No sir, we all saw what happened last time he tried to do that in Arizona...

Say what you will... this is quite funny

Heh, I should also mention that these rules apply exclusively at polling places. It’d be ridiculous to not be allowed to wear a shirt in everyday life.

Why was he (or anyone) standing around in front of a voting place?
