Does the same thing in Brave, too. Maybe it wasn’t a chrome update, it was a GMG/Holding company idea to hack their video code to sneak autoplay in every page. I do hit a couple of these sites frequently, so that may be why I’m bitching too. 

@!%! It must be by design - Chrome updated, and now stupid videos autoplay on a vast number of sites I’ve visited this last week. Ugh. Argh. As far as I can tell, they eliminated the beta options and regular options to not autoplay video. There’s an option to turn audio off; to disallow sites from playing audio.…

I just hope you can get to, and then through, the race without any parts breaking :o

It’s not the exposure that gets me, it’s the lack of reaction to the exposure. Instead of people saying ‘Oh that’s terrible!’ and at least feeling it’s bad enough to try to hide under the carpet, to make at least an effort to gloss it over - instead, you get ‘Oh, gee whiz.’, ‘and so?’, and ‘That’s wrong, but I agree…
