Holy shit Meat Loaf is gone!?!?!  I have this really fond story my dad would tell me, about driving through town and seeing a bar advertising meat loaf and hot tuna.  He thought it was literal food, he didn't know it was the band Meat Loaf and Hot Tuna.  Fun times.  Farewell good sir!  Your album covers remain the

I feel exactly the same.

This is me exactly.  I actually don’t know why I’m here.

RIP AV Club

Well... damn... Where am I supposed to go now? I stuck it out around here a long time, but this does not sound like something I want to be a part of anymore.

I can’t delete my comment, so I’ll make this post. G/O Media sucks and treats their employees like shit. I feel bad for those who were pushed around and pushed out. As much as I can, I stand with those editors and writers who are getting screwed over. It’s a shame. This website used to be wonderful. It had a culture

“Hold me back! Hold me back!”
“Stop backing into me, I’m not holding you back!”

It sounds juvenile, like “on accident” or “psghetti”

I’m struggling a little bit with this (and, seriously, I know people say this all the time, but I do mean it: I’m here to learn) because is his mentioning that he’s a sex addict a way to partially excuse himself because he has a pathology? In contrast, does that hint that someone who does not claim an addiction to

“[A]n omicron ouroboros”.

They mean “alleged rapist asshole”, not “alleged rapist asshole”

A few years ago, the WWE fired wrestler Enzo Amore after they found out that he was briefly questioned about a rape and cleared a few months before. They said he should have told them he was questioned. After his firing, the police put out a press release saying he was cleared of everything. I dug into the allegations

I would actually suggest you hit the dismiss button on Laserface: creepy nut job who keeps screenshots and records of things people have posted in the comments here over a year ago in order to use against them in entirely unrelated conversations.

You know, there are times where things feel so hopeless, i.e., Man, no matter how many laws are passed, no matter how many elections are won, the corporations will just find ways around it—especially with the Supreme Court gladly lickin’ private-sector boots.

Ah, I gotcha. I was 90% sure that’s what you meant. ;-)

I'm 36 and this is still one of my favorite shows. It's one of the few shows from my childhood I can go back and watch and still find entertaining. I binge it every few years (usually when I'm sick in bed) and the jokes are still funny to me and the characters wonderful. Yes, of course it's melodramatic—it's a sitcom!
