If I need cash for my emerging business, but the angel investor who shows up to my rescue has a history of horrible acts, I would absolutely not take his money.

Let’s take a look at this for a second to help illustrate my point:

The point is - if say Donald Trump came to you and said I’ll donate to your charity, would you take the money?

No, but if you take the money, then it means that you accepted it. Would you take money from a known bad guy - which then makes you associated with him?

Yeah I get that, what I’m saying is that there isn’t anything obvious outside of the things she’s said that’s gotten her into trouble.

Yeah, but that’s not how people who might feel they’re part of a marginalized group act.

But that’s what bad people do.

So here’s my question.
