You gotta do Cerro Noroeste. It’s an almost religious experience once you get past Pine Mountain. It’s a complete rollercoaster and so totally unique in that it serves up endless amounts of 60 mph+ BANKED turns that goes for seconds on end while giving you a gorgeous view of the Central Valley.
I’m giving away my secrets but...
Look up NC-215 between highway 64 and US-276 in the Blue Ridge Mountains (near Brevard, NC). Perfectly paved, not very well-traveled, magnificent view of the area at the top and I’ve never seen a cop in the many times I’ve driven it. Definitely one of my favorite roads in the country.
