I’m no GM defender, but why shouldn’t we look at the Silverado and Sierra sales as a whole? They’re really just different trims of the same vehicle, only existing as separate models because of the history of GM’s dealership network being split between brands.

Yeah any sales number comparison that doesn’t lump Chevy & GMC together is bunk. A Silverado and Sierra are more similar than a Raptor and a base F150.

So GM makes two full size trucks (that 100% cannibalize from each other) the Silverado and Sierra. And if you add those two up, they sold more of them than Ram or Ford:
