My biggest concern about this car is the rear end. Just doesn't look good, the color parts are just far to wide and definitely looks like it could be a Camaro rear end. Also the square exhausts just look terrible.

At least on the air cooled Porsches, engine out was almost easier than replacing the headlight bulb on an E90 BMW (I believe it was the left where you had to remove the wheel and strip out the wheel well).
You clicked on it, I clicked on it. You spent time here commenting (and responding). Job done.
Yeah even though the C7 looks good and I wouldn't mind owning one, every time I look at what's for sale some part of me doesn't buy in to the idea (my ex wife even told me "that's not your kind of car", but she also thought an M4 was too girly).
Youalso have to remember that American cars are some of the last to keep nameplates forever. I can think of very few non-American brands that keep names over generations: Miata, maybe Skyline, and the Porsches (they've been inching the 911 engine up every generation, but it is still technically rear engined).
I now have a desire to have a purple car with a brown interior and call it peanut butter and jelly.
Uh.... A new Cayman S is nowhere near $55k. Also they're good cars so why would that make me a moron?
Honestly I would be fine with a 55k 375-400 hp V6 model. If it had a manual it would be drool worthy in that kind of trim.
Somewhat related: there's a restaurant that started as a food truck in Austin that now has probably 4-5 trucks, and at least two brick and mortar restaurants. It's Mexican-korean fusion named Coreanos, and I was blow away when I saw that one of their restaurants in Seoul. I knew them as the truck at a local beer bar…
Holy shit that shit bird!
Yah that’s the whole weight class issue. It should be your average weight across a month (measured let’s say 2 times per week) and the final right before suiting up. Also some sort of control measure for outliers.
But what about the additional viewings of the weigh in, won’t someone think of the screen time!!??!
Lost my dream car to a flash flood. It was raining heavily, so I drove slowly (35 in a 55), but poor visibility (lack of defogger) and the way the light reflected off the water and road led me to think the small bridge hadn't been flooded. My brother and I were pushed off the road into the creek but we're luckily able…
Actually just had the Thai Red Bull first the first time last week in China. The lack of carbonation bothered me, and I prefer the more acidic/less sweet flavor of the western version.
Interestingly on the E90 there is a blow off tube to the side of the cap. Looks similar to that Phillips head plastic bit there. The tube leads underneath the car, so you can safely open it slowly to depressure the system.
Have you made defending the C8 your personal crusade? I have never seen someone this defensive about a car.
I’m not sure if AMG has had a manual ever or at least in the last 25 years.
Heck I drink water essentially non-stop, so even on my commute I have a bottle of water with me.
The "no food ever in cars" along with the strong root beer brand bias leads me to believe you are at least 90 years old.
I think the point is that it wouldn't impact costs for companies all that much since the labor at that level isn't a significant factor in their P/L.
