You can come sit next to me and we can roll our eyes at these guys (it’s always a guy) together. Also- dudebro, HRC was absolutely crucified for proposing single payer healthcare 20 flippin years ago, that was brave, Bernie talking about it now is not particularly revolutionary.

I too like Sgt Pepper and Kid A, but I’m going to let them stay because they serve a crucial role in making this a list that will piss off each and every man I know.

One of mine went to robotics camp this summer and LOVED it. I would imagine he would go absolutely nuts if somehow he got to go to space camp.

After seeing the trailer for Justice League (we do not need lingering shots of Gal Gadot’s ass in action scenes, or any scene really) I have zero interest in a WW2 directed by a man. WB- throw all the money at Jenkins, we beg you.

Local politics is the best.

Good luck!

95% of running for office is asking for people’s vote, time, and money. Some states and municipalities have systems that help with the money part. That said it is a skill that can be taught, it’s very rare to find someone who enjoys the fundraising part.

Fun fact, the protests after that were my very first as a little tiny goldfish. That said, yes, McCain is widely respected in Arizona.

Arizona will consider renaming just about everything in the state after him. For better or worse he is an institution here (literally there’s one at ASU). All the progressive groups are putting out statements of support, which is as it should be.

If anyone can make it through that it’s John McCain (who in all fairness I waited on once and he was very nice). That said a resignation will throw the entire AZ democratic field into uncertainty.

They would have to pick someone in a safe seat too, meaning we’d be looking at Sen Gosar or something similar. Then we’d be looking at someone from the State Senate, also in a safe seat in the House seat. Scary.

There are branches in Phoenix.

Absolutely. By AZ GOP standards McCain is downright moderate.

I moved from a good sized city to a town like that just before 7th grade. It really truly sucked. It got better in high school, but middle school was awful. There was even an “I hate goldfish” club. I live 3,000 miles away now, for which I am grateful.

Nancy would have shut that down right quick and then fired whoever let it happen in the first place.

I will take my good news wherever I can find it.

That’s awesome and gives me hope.

“ I want to do architecture. I want to go back one day and rebuild Syria, the country I lived in that’s being destroyed. I wouldn’t have had that dream if I was still there.”

That river on fire is perfectly safe!

NPR was reminding listeners that it’s the significance of legislation that matters and he has done very little. They closed with a law renaming a courthouse. I’m going to guess that someone over there has been paying attention to the honorable Kara Brown.
