Yep exactly. They’re not playing to appeal to the undecided, and they don’t care about debate performance - all they need to do is to remind their constituent to vote. What will make a difference here is whether or not enough republicans will boycott the election...i sure hope so!

yeah I was thinking this too. This will be the GOP’s lasting legacy if they lose the presidency - and maybe it’s enough. For the few decent members out there, perhaps they longer need to hold their nose to vote for #45.
They can if Dems sweeps the senate and maintains house majority. The question really is whether we’d be opening up pandora’s box, if we obliterate yet another political norm (the judicial nomination simple majority senate rule was enacted by Democrats, I believe).
