VA and WV are... special.

I also don’t own a single flat brimmed hat!
It seems like something was triggered inside of Musk ~3 years ago. He’s been on a downward spiral ever since. His trajectory reminds me a LOT of Howard Hughes. Some parallels:
Never vaped in my life.
I’ve driven a red STI with a big wing for 8 years. I have never been pulled over in it.
The Lucid Gravity is going to make this thing look quaint.
All of these answers are wrong. The correct answer is: “more.”
There’s no universal agreement between “refresh” and “second generation”, but they did what I would call a “refresh” in 2021 (new interior, better sound deadening, heat pump). The “highland” only has minor cosmetic changes but I think there’s enough different under the hood to call it a second gen.
The Model 3 is on the second generation now.
I distinctly remember a C7 z06 for sale in the mid-50s back in 2018ish. They started high $90s when new. They are still worth that today.
“I really hope someone can figure out how to make hydrogen work on a consumer scale because it’s a really neat piece of technology that could make a big difference as we move further away from fossil fuels.”
Yeah, but you probably aren’t the type regularly spending six figures on a luxury sedan.
Many of the early cars (2022 early 2023s) had various bugs and issues that have since been worked out. Those probably caused a decent number of early adopters to dump them.
Right, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s wars have never been about cobalt (which isn’t even necessary for EV manufacturing). More that they were set up to fail from the start as an independent nation by a sadistic Belgian colonial regime that quickly led to the sadistic dictatorship of Mobutu. Then you had the wars…
The alternative ICE luxury sedans literally run on “conflict hydrocarbons.” There’s been a lot more wars fought over oil than lithium and cobalt.
Actually, they offer a lower-trim model that is substantially lighter with a smaller battery. It’s called the “Pure.” Still gets close to 400 miles of range.
This isn’t really new. The inaugural Dream edition hit 500 in real world testing back in 2022.
A big part of it is that the MSRPs themselves plummeted. Plus, it’s a large luxury sedan, which has always been the most depreciating market segment.
Silicon or silicone? Make up your mind - one is a solid mineral, the other is a rubbery compound. Silicon:
Miata is still the answer, but BRZ works if you need/want a hardtop.
