On behalf of all Kinja, let me thank you for not putting this in a slideshow or a video.

…or c) these movies are filmed on a green screen and it’s entirely common for people to appear in scenes together without ever having met.

Am I experiencing some schadenfreude, here? Sure. At the same time, a lot of people got suckered into these scams and their lives (and the lives of people who rely on them) are gonna be pretty fucked as a result of them losing all their money buying goddamn NFTs and whatever.

Literally everyone saw this coming.  And it is awesome.

I actually really despise how the gaming community treats release dates, and a particular segment of the gaming community has all hell break loose anytime dates are missed or there are constantly delays.

yes, this. The Segway was supposed to change the world.

ME3 endings are the one thing i never ever debate with people about because my god, do people get sanctimonious. Every person who gets in to it is always just ‘omg, x ending is the only true ending and if you didnt choose that then ur a terrible person and shud kill urself omg’. I’ve watched friendships dissolve over

The crimes of the game are many, but the two biggest ones are related to previous game decisions and Chobot.

Arguably the 2 biggest choices in ME1 and ME2 were completely worthless non-decisions in the end.

And Jessica Chobot living in the Normandy’s Basement doing... space web content for morale????? How we talk about a game being satisfying when it features a major cameo from JESSICA CHOBOT (remmeber her? No? Shock!) and Ashley getting a huge boob job!

ARHJHJJHHJHJHJHJHJHJJHHHJJH MASS EFFECT THREE MAY HAVE SOME GREAT

Oh, man, and then there’s a full on essay on why Bioware entirely failed to understand the appeal of its own franchise when it made the third game all about Earth, a planet you never visit in the prior two games and have zero investment in.

Yes, as a real human being in real life I care for the real Earth I live on,

And I forgot that the original cut of the game has all the mass effect relays explode for some reason, a plot point that in the previous game was shown to be an apocalypse-level event that would wipe out an entire solar system and also end interstellar travel, and if I recall Bioware, amongst many, many, many other

Hard disagree with the entire premise of the article, namely because none of the endings of ME3 are satisfying as they fundamentally ignore the premise of the previous 90+ hours of the game to that point unless you’d been a die-hard renegade who killed everything you came across (aka a brutish dolt of an asshole).

Unless they changed it in Legendary Edition, and it looks like they haven’t, you see the Shepard (maybe) lives ending only if you choose to “destroy” the option.

They’re obviously going to trot out Shepard again in some form whether as the MC or as a mentor or some sort. It’s quite clear from the “reveal” trailer that it was Destroy that they’re treating as the canon choice (no obvious signs of green eye syndrome that marked the Synthesis ending and we only see armour survive

He went looking for a fight and found one.  That isn’t self defense, except in Wisconsin and Florida.

What a weird, clearly biased, and overall dumbass take.

That’s a weird take. I’m surprised you think your average CoD buyer is even thinking about it like that. I’m pretty sure it’s not that serious for most the their audience.

That bill name is a joke. Protecting students never mattered when students of color, LGBTQ+, and non-Christian students were being harassed and assaulted. Only seemed to matter when it applies to white students (and barely that. It us more about white adult feelings more than anything).

Bigotman and the Legion of Q will certainly spawn a series of sequels that will pay off all of the state’s debts.
