RyRey gets to come and go as he pleases and, whether you find his polite snark and obsessive entrepreneurial behaviour charming or off-putting, he does not deserve to be considered in any capacity alongside Flaccid Wolverine

You know how I can tell you are not into comics?

Is that Michael Rapapport in glorified cameo as Titus in ep02? Definitely him.
Then there’s the image on the poster itself. Clearly, that’s a lightsaber with a trail of blood. Pretty violent for Star Wars, don’t you think?
It would be kind of nice if a post about “Things you should look into buying during the Steam Sale” also listed, you know, the sale prices of these things.
Lapsed reader, but wanting to get back into it -- can anyone explain why the end of the Krakoa era is viewed negatively?
The Extended Cut added the only ending that made any sense at all - telling Starchild to go fuck himself, and hiding all data on the Reapers deep underground so that during the next cycle, another intelligent race could find it and prepare to succeed where we had failed. And despite being a brand new ending added just…
Or you could just accept that not everyone agrees with your declarations no matter how firmly you state them.
“Mass Effect 3's ending was good actually”
I will never understand the apologists for Mass Effect 3's ending.
Ahead of its time?
A lot of historic revisionism between this and the Xbox One launch article lately. This comment is 100% correct in all ways.
Right, I forgot about walking away (I haven’t played the game since it came out).
I’d add that the endings wound up just being the dialogue wheel options again. Same color options plus a ‘walk away’. None of the franchise-long promises about your choices mattering actually happened. Everything was pushed towards a readiness score that you could boost through multiplayer or a mobile game so nothing…
4 endings. You could also choose to walk away and not choose any of the 3 choices presented to you. I feel that’s important to mention when so many people often say that all 3 choices were bad and that their shepherd wouldn’t choose any of them. You have that choice too, it may also not be a very good one, but often…
The problem with the original endings wasn’t that they were messy, its that they were lazy. I don’t mind ambiguity, but this?
To me, the big problem with the ME3 ending was that Mass Effect was defined by binary choices - the ethics aren’t always clear, one isn’t “evil” while the other is “good”, but they at least feel consistent. Paragon vs Renegade. A Paragon frees the Rachni Queen because she and the rachni deserve to be free, a Renegade…
Eh... they were written before that was a thing, true. But they do have a touch of that feel to them.
S1 felt very much like an attempt to make a grownup show from teenage source material - the gore and torture (can’t remember if there was nudity or not) quite at odds with the simplistic characters and motivations. The trollocs were cool though.
