I’ve been fully bought in to VR for years. I started with the first Oculus dev kit and I’ve owned pretty much every major consumer headset since. With that said, I’m about to cancel my PSVR2 pre-order and here’s some of the reasons why.

Doesn’t this requirement come from DirectStorage still not being ready for general use? Even when it does become a viable solution, there will still be many computers that don’t have appropriate hardware to make use of it.

Just curious ... does anyone browse any of the G/O Media sites without an ad blocker? If so, how the hell do you do it? The ads make these sites such a terrible experience to navigate, especially on mobile.

To me, it felt like the nature documentary equivalent of porn. It had visuals that got boring rather quickly and a dull, nonsensical plot thrown in for the hell of it. I started looking at my watch about 40min in to the movie and it felt like a chore sitting through the rest of it.

This makes so much more sense. I was asking myself “Who could possibly retire with $650k?”. 

All that Kotaku bloggers care about are clicks, nothing else. They don’t care about spoilers, they don’t care about accurate content and they love to create posts for drama. If they really want people to upgrade their previous AppleTV units, they really need to allow apps like Plex to bitstream DDTHD and DTS-MA. Otherwise, there just isn’t a compelling reason to buy a new box.

Sounds like you either have a defective unit or a defective HDMI cable. Don’t overlook the possibility of the cable being a problem, as it happens all the time.

I thought if there’s an unknown tag nearby for long enough that you’ll get a warning, along with an option to disable the tag. You don’t need physical access to the tag.

Are these games only available in the US? I’d never heard of this before and just checked my app. There’s absolutely nothing to do with games there. I’m based on Canada, so I’m guessing it’s a region thing.

Yup, sleep tracking can be useful. I sleep with my watch on, as I’m a heavy sleeper and the vibration of my watch when my alarm goes off helps me wake up. I question why someone would need their watch on as they get ready for the day. I don’t need the watch to track or alert me while I’m taking a shower or eating…

Are there really that many people who keep their watch on 24/7? Even when I wore regular watches, I’d always take them off for a period of time each day. For my Apple Watch, I take it off when I wake up and put it to charge. I get ready for the day and when I’m done it’s fully charged.
