It happens regularly for me and it doesn’t matter if it’s a disc based game. Just last night, I was playing MK10 (PS+ download) with a friend and the Sackboy disk that was in the console spun up several times. There’s really no need for that.

Haven’t had any issues with either my PS5 or Xbox SX yet. The main thing I would like them to fix on the PS5 is to stop having disks just randomly start spinning up in the console. It’s fairly annoying, as it’s quite loud when it happens. Even if you’re playing a digital game, it’ll just randomly spin up the disk…

I had a ton of fun with this game. My main complaint is that the difficulty spiked significantly during the last mission. The rest of the game felt fairly balanced, so this stuck out.

Can anyone that has a PS5 check out this video and let me know if you have a similar buzzing/grinding sound from the fan. Just note that it sounds much louder in the video than it actually does when right next to it.

I really hate the new look. In the original, everything on screen looked like they belong together. The remake looks like multiple art styles shoved together, especially the differences between the environments and characters.

I really wish the compatibility with original Xbox games was more extensive. They’ve made a pretty big deal about backwards compatibility, but with less than 40 original Xbox titles supported they have a long way to go.

I just want to know when I’ll be able to order this. They never went on sale in Canada. Is it just going to be a nightmare on Friday to try getting one?

I like the game quite a bit, but I absolutely HATE Olivia. She nearly ruins the game for me. She doesn’t stop talking and what she says is just a ridiculous amount of handholding. 

The hardware in the PS5 is more than capable of emulating both the PS1 and PS2. Sony just wants to continue selling those titles digitally.

I’m about 2.5 hours in to the game so far and have been having a lot of fun with it. My main complaint at the moment are the load times. Good lord ... I died several times during chase sequences because I couldn’t figure out where to go and each time was a nearly minute long load on a PS4 Pro.

I ordered all the sets and have been having fun putting them together with my daughter. She’s been having a blast playing with them, but time will tell how long the sets will remain interesting to her. We have one last set to assemble tonight from the Mario collection, then it’s time to assemble the NES.

I really don’t get why it’s so difficult. Many games that do support HDR on Windows, such as Doom Eternal, display with too high a black level on my TV. My display is fully calibrated, so I know for certain it’s not my TV settings. Given that both the Xbox One X and PS4 seem to be able to run HDR without the same…

Not sure what to tell you. The batteries are identical between those models. I’m even looking at the batteries right now, since I removed swollen batteries from my 2000 and 3000 systems this morning.

The 2000 and 3000 both use the same battery.

Checked my systems and surprisingly the 1000 is fine, but the batteries in my 2000 and 3000 have expanded.

What I’m confused about is that it seems all the Xbox exclusive titles are coming to PC as well. For those of us with powerful PCs, they haven’t shown any value in buying a Series X console.
