If the deposit wasn’t fully refundable, I’d agree with you. That isn’t the case though. No one who preordered one of these knew all the details about it.

At the production rate they talked about, I’m not expecting mine until some time in 2019, since I pre-ordered at the beginning of December. I’m sure there will be a lot more information by then.

When I pre-ordered, they hasn’t talked about options. They just listed the price as ‘starting at” $35k. The “starting at” implied some type of customization.

If that’s the case, then I’ll wait. I’m definitely not in this year’s group of deliveries. I guess I’ll see what options are available when mine’s ready.

The 8BitDo controllers are my favorite 3rd party controllers ever made. They’re so versatile and really do feel like authentic Nintendo controllers. The wireless dongles for NES and SNES systems are great too.
