It’s a plastic screen and the guides in the dock are hard plastic. Regardless whether a large number of people have scratched their screens to date, it’s still a horrible design which lends itself to causing problems.

I picked up a 1080Ti last Friday and I’m pretty happy it. I upgraded from the standard 1080, specifically for VR.
This all started when I made a single comment about wanting a physical version and being willing to pay more. Never once did I ever say anything negative about the developer for not making this an option.
No reason they need to do it on their own. They could work with someone like Limited Run Games to do the release.
What exactly are you arguing about? I clearly said in my original post that I would pay more for a physical release.
It’s been done before, with games like River City Rampage. It doesn’t have to be a retail store release. It could just be a smaller batch that’s sold direct.
I know this is just a $10 game, but I wish there was a physical release of this. I’d happy pay more to have this on a physical cart.
While I love the Wii U, I absolutely hate the music and sounds in the menu screen. I’m happy they’ve done away with that and much prefer the music free menu.
I don’t have any issues with my system yet. With that said, I’ve only used my Neon Joy-Con controllers while connected to the system in portable mode. So I don’t know if those have the left Joy-Con problem. While docked, I’ve used the Pro Controller and a second pair of gray Joy-Cons, which don’t have any issue.
I’m ridiculous anal when it comes to dead\stuck pixels. It’s one of the reasons why I’ll only buy devices like this at stores I know have easy return policies. Thankfully my Switch is fine.
I should have added in my post that I’ve been playing the game already. The slowdown is definitely annoying, especially when it’s not there at all in portable mode.
240P can look good on a LCD. It all comes down to the scaler that’s used.
There’s no way you’ve avoided the frame rate drops. They’re all over the place. It’s more likely you simply didn’t notice.
I’m hoping that the poor performance of Zelda when the system is docked is mainly a symptom of the game being rushed to meet the system launch. If that’s the case, hopefully a future patch can address the issue.
If Nintendo releases Mario Odyssey in time for the holidays, I can see them hitting 5 - 7 million units no problem. 10 million is a major stretch.
“Within three to four feet of another wireless device, such as a wireless speaker or a wireless access point.”
Anyone know if Blaster Master Zero or Has Been Heroes will be getting a physical release?
What I don’t get is why games like Uncharted 4 can manage better looking human CG models than Hollywood can.
What happened to Arms? I noticed that Amazon.ca no longer has a release date for the game and it’s not one of the games listed on the eStore.
I’m really looking forward to trying the Switch. Unfortunately, it looks like Amazon.ca won’t be shipping my games on Friday. Instead, the estimated ship date is next week for some reason. So I’ll have the system, but no games. Given the 20% off pre-order bonus for ordering through Amazon, I can’t justify buying…
