I hate that Sony is minimizing the potential of this system by disabling the extra GPU cores for non-Pro enabled games. It would have been a massive selling point for the system to allow existing GPU limited games to maintain their 30/60fps frame limit. They stated that compatibility is the reason they do this, but

General consumers aren’t going to start fussing around with emulators. They just want something that plugs in to their TV and works.

The huge flaw is that they barely shipped any for the launch. No store in my area got anything close to a meaningful amount of stock. Today’s launch only served to line the pockets of scalpers, rather than making them available to the fans.

I don’t think that list is complete. Battlezone has already been updated with PS4 Pro support and it’s not on the list. I’m sure there are more which are missing.

Do you have a source for that? There’s absolutely no reason for an emulation layer for these GPUs.

This topic has actually been discussed quite a bit on Reddit. Apparently the trade-in deal will be announced this weekend.

As long as a game isn’t bottlenecked by the CPU, the PS4 Pro should improve any game falling below its frame cap. This isn’t a net new system, requiring titles be specifically ported to it. It’s fully compatible. At the end of the day, it should be similar to upgrading the video card in a computer, with the one

Battlezone should be on the list. The latest patch includes PS4 Pro enhancements.

The game is great, especially in VR. The only thing I’d caution about it is that it’s a massive time sink.

Is it just me or is there no cheaper upgrade for owners of the original game? All I’m seeing in Steam is the ability to purchase the full game.

They’re saying the post came from a “disgruntled employee”. I’ve seen nothing that denies Sean Murray being said employee.

Ugh ... I’m actually extremely disappointed to hear this, as I was so looking forward to its release. Hopefully the extra time is used to really polish the game.

But it works via USB when plugged in to a PC. That’s what’s weird about this.

I’ll be going through all the PSVR content I got, as well as play the hell out of Thumper (in both VR and not). Good lord do I ever love that game!

I never put down any money when pre-ordering games. The reason I choose to pre-order are various pre-order sales, which have allowed me to save a significant amount of money over the past few years.

If you want to post another tip for PSVR users, here’s a post I wrote about minimizing tracking wobble. It makes a significant difference.

I received mine a couple hours ago and have had some time to play with it. While I fully expected tracking wobble, I didn’t expect it to be as bad as it is.

You know what it is? The link is redirecting me to Amazon.ca. Deal links have never done that before. Interesting.

Looks like the NAS isn’t available anymore. I wonder if it was a pricing error, as that was pretty cheap for the DS415Play.
