Any word on when pre-orders start? I’d rather not sit around refreshing Amazon and Best Buy all night.

The only thing I can figure is that the callout to being a “foremost civil rights activist” must be a clue that the post is satire and shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Please tell me someone is putting together a physical release for this! I don’t care which platform, I just want a physical release.

I’m very happy they’ve chosen to try a new direction with this series and not force the current gameplay on the 3DS. Definitely looking forward to this one!

It really sucks. I have a significantly sized video game collection, which includes all Nintendo handhelds. I use them all, with the exception of most of the newer models, for which I can only fully use the latest since I can’t keep my account linked to the older models. While this may be a niche use case, it’s a valid

This is great!

I’m a huge fan of the PSP Go. Sony screwed up by not having a large amount of the system’s library available in digital form. If they couldn’t offer the bulk of the library, they shouldn’t have bothered going all digital.

The 6-button Sega Genesis controller and the second version of the Saturn controller are still my favorite gamepads.

I think it more comes down to rushing development, doing things the easy way rather than the right way. I know quite a few people who work for AAA developers. The teams I’ve met have been pretty strong. Their talents are generally wasted though with short lead times and packed schedules.

Action figures are specifically made to be played with. Figures like these aren’t. They are posable, scale models.

It is very tempting to pick up a laptop with the mobile 1080, as a portable VR system. Hmmmm.

I think (someone please correct me if I’m wrong), that it’s the difference between a disk based game and a digital download. I haven’t done any game development on XB1 or PS4 yet, but don’t they both encrypt digital content?

When the game initially dropped to $20, there was a significant surge in players. Prior to that, it was a wasteland. I’ve heard it’s back down to very few people playing, but I haven’t bothered to check myself.

Not sure why I broke my rule of never responding to greys. Should have left you there.

I’ve worked in software development for over 20 years and have planned releases like this many times.

Even with data dependencies, it’s a trivial effort to keep things separate. It’s only a problem if it was decided to do the beta release at the last minute. I guarantee you that this is something that’s been planned from day one. All that’s required is to plan ahead for a release like this. There’s absolutely no

It’s not rocket science to make a build of a software product that only contains a subset of the full product. If they’re truly worried about leaks, they’d spend the time to make such a build. Then there’s nothing for anyone to leak.

You’re fooling yourself if you actually believe a TP-Link product will continue working for a decade.

The DPC issues doesn’t affect all systems and there’s already a hot fix for that. This stuttering is different.

My guess is that it has something to do with the net code. It would explain why a bunch of people on Reddit are reporting smooth performance, as they might be redirected to servers with more capacity.
