There’s something with how the trailer is edited, which just falls flat with me. I much preferred the original trailer and the Celebration footage.
My copy will arrive on Wednesday. I wonder if it'll have this mistake.
Star Trek Beyond was the first film in 19 years where I wanted to get up and walk out of the theatre (1997's Batman & Robin being the only film I ever did walk out on). To me, apart from all the fan service based referenced throughout the movie, it was a massive slap in the face to Trek fans. The solution for dealing…
Trek is definitely not doing well (rightfully so IMO). Neither Trek or GB are flops though. He'd have to be doing significantly worse than either of them are. Neither will be making a profit any time soon though.
EVGA released a hybrid Titan X.
I want to see how it benches against the 1080, especially when used with high superscaling values for VR. If it’s a significant increase, I’ll consider upgrading when a hybrid cooler becomes available for it.
People star their owns posts here? Is that really a thing?
Nintendo doesn’t own the complete library. Even games they published themselves could have tricky licensing issues to deal with. I’m personally surprised how many 3rd party games are on this thing.
After reading ‘Chamber Lid’, I had to pull out the NES instructions to see how it was referred to back then. Surprisingly enough, it says ‘Chamber Lid’ in the manual. Crazy. I’d never heard anyone call it that before.
This is already a solved problem. There has been a SD card based optical drive replacement for a while now. It’s called Rhea and is from the maker of GDEmu, which is a Dreamcast equivalent.
Maybe they’re talking about another movie. That must be it, because they can’t honestly be saying that the live action Attack on Titan movie had good visuals.
I’ll give it another try, but I’ve never been a big fan of Assetto Corsa. It’s been a little while since I’ve played it though.
I should give it a try again. Not sure if I've played it since they updated.
While I like Holopoint, I prefer the bow and arrow mechanics in The Lab
Project Cars isn't for everyone. You need to really enjoy racing sims and a good wheel is pretty much a requirement for the best experience.
How are The Lab, Project Cars and PoolNation VR not on the list?
When he started, he didn’t expect it to be such a long running thing. Over time, it didn’t make sense to keep the Angry Nintendo Nerd name, since the logical progression of the channel would have him covering games across multiple platforms. That’s when he chose to change the name.
Thanks for writing about this, Mike! I love systems like this and somehow this one completely flew under my radar.
My tip for people is to have a wishlist ready before the sale and only buy items on that list. It helps to control the impulse purchases.
