1-1 in both SMB and SMB3 are absolutely brilliant. They teach you everything you need to know and give you a taste of some of the coolest stuff right away. How awesome is it that within 30sec of playing SMB3 you can be flying around the level? Pure awesome!

You don't need 1Gbps internet access. I have 150Mbps and 50GB can be easily downloaded in an hour. Now I fully realize most people don't have internet speeds this high, but I just wanted to point out that 1Gbps isn't required.
