Is it known as fact that all needed content is available on the disk? I could see that as being true for series 1, but I doubt they have all the content fully developed. I'm certain there will be a time I'll buy a character, put it on the base and the game will download the needed content.
Thankfully it's going to cost me $0 for the starter pack and all series 1 content. My birthday's next weekend and I made it very clear that this is what I was interested in. My wife even sat down with me to make sure she knew what to get :)
Yes, that's where Toy Box mode comes in to play, which is where most people will be spending their time.
A lot of indie games can also be bought DRM-free elsewhere, for the same price. Don't get me wrong, I love Steam, but it's not the first place I go for indie games.
Last time I played it was right after the first update, where it was still massively broken. I've been waiting for the Mac version before giving it another go.
Any idea if anyone is carrying these in Canada? ToysRUs up here know nothing about it.
This post was written at 2:53 ... "Half Life" is two words, there are currently 5 games in the series and 3! HL3 officially confirmed by Stephen Totilo!
I'm now convinced you're just a troll. No one can honestly be this naive. You could easily have a movie set in the time period of WW2 and not have it focus on the war. It would still make sense to show Nazi propaganda, as it's part of that time period.
Unless you own the original PCBs, using MAME = piracy
The article mentions that companies are renting machines. You do not want to start using pirated games (or any software for that matter) at a company.
LOL ... I wish I lived in the imaginary world you do. Must be nice, with lots of rainbows and unicorns.
That kid must really love Sonic 2. He grabbed at least 3 copies of it :)
Oh, I didn't know that you work for a company who makes BD players and thus knows 'a firmware update is all thats needed'. You should probably be fired though, as that statement is incorrect. If you knew anything about the decoders used in most BD players, you'd know just how wrong you are.
Why support a non-standard frame rate, which is not going to become standard? Other film makers are also looking to move away from 24fps, but most are looking at faster frame rates than 48fps. Let them figure out what they're going to do and then they'll support is for home use. People aren't going to buy a new BD…
What I want are more Game & Watch Collection releases! It would also be nice if they had more than 3 games each.
I'd buy a third 3DS if they released that!
Can you purchase a complete set of pucks in a case, like the kid has in the video? If so, where? I searched on Ebay and Yahoo auctions and came up dry.
The game is still broken in many ways and what we're left with is an embarrassment to the SimCity franchise. I'm still hoping a major patch will be released along side the Mac version, but I doubt it will happen.
This is exactly why I'm terrified to buy the game. I know I'm going to want every character, which will simply get ridiculous. Because of that, I'm likely going to pass.
