You’d probably appreciate the combat a bit more had you played the previous games in the series.. The combat in Fallout has evolved drastically several times over, the transition from 2-3 was like playing an entirely new game with only the scenery and story enduring. Also, I don’t get your bit about the crafting…

Why pay for a season pass unless you’ve already played the game for a certain number of hours and are sure that you’ll want to play it again? That’s my logic.
