I did that 1/2 way through Martyrs. I stopped the dvd and read the synopsis on Wikipedia and thought "If I don't watch this, I'm going to imagine it much more gruesomely and awful in my head. I'll just finish watching."

I already emailed them and asked when they would be stocking sizes over 38.

Per the boyfriend: "You know how you'll know that True Blood has jumped the shark? When there are people actually turning into sharks on screen."

I like how you think :)

My (and Peggy Olson's) favorite violet candies.

I'm thinking it is. Most of the early stuff is instrumental and much less vocal-driven and melodic.

That song makes me absolutely bonkers and disrupts my enjoyment of the album every time I hear it. That said, it could make a fun video.

I loved the series as a kid — it was creepy and wonderful.

These are really pretty but I wish the text was more interesting/insightful/creative.

I asked my guide how she remembered all the info in each room after the tour. She seemed really startled that I asked but said she had a physical mnemonic in each room that helped her remember every thing. That was the most interesting part of the tour — getting her to back track into the last 3 rooms and point them

Not that many toilets but large parts of the house are not on the tour. I kind of wish I'd taken the midnight tour around Halloween for maximum thrills.

A very loud older teenager behind me spent the entire film narrating the action and asking her friend who the newest character on screen was... loudly (which in a lot of HP films is resolved with a "Oh hai Professor Dandybrandy".) I shushed her about every

I think Jean Cocteau got the beast pretty right on as well.

I always end up watching it On Demand later in the week and it's SO HARD not to read Meredith's recaps before I watch but then I treat myself by reading it in real time with the show.

I'm with you on that. Even Ron Perlman's beast was almost... too handsome in a furry way. (I've been re-watching the original show on Netflix.)

Ha! If it's any consolation, I spent the rest of my morning with the Spears back catalog stuck in my head while I tried to make all the songs about monsters. It was surprisingly easy but I'll spare you having "___________________________" in your head.

The Returned is an interesting premise but they have got to lose that tagline.

Yes please! Photos so we can live vicariously through your pixels.

Fat people don't seek medicare because it sucks to go to a doctor with strep throat or for a pap smear and being scolded to lose weight.
