In an earlier draft of the script, when Prowl and Ratchet get killed the lasers heat them up so much they FUSE INTO ONE DEAD ROBOT.

They actually toned things down, which is mind-blowing.

All for the sake of selling a new wave of toys! That said, I still love this movie, and always will. It may have been a very long commercial, but it was well done, and well written for the time, and will always be THE Transformers movie as far as I’m concerned.

an extra 10 years?

Sure, it’s a kid’s movie, but Megatron screaming, “DIE AUTOBOTS!” and proceeding to cut down several characters that were at home in my toy box, including straight-up executing Ironhide... man.

I thought season 2 was better overall than season one. The finale was a bit of a misfire, seemed to sour people on the season as a whole. Whitney Frost was great, as was Dottie and Mrs Jarvis. Shame they didn’t stick the landing but there was some good shit there.
