The Red Mage video looks so bad ass. The whole Rapier + Crystal weapon has to be my favorite FFXIV weapon at the moment and I’ve been waiting for a sword wielding dps and another magic dps since this game launched. I can’t wait to see it’s Primal weapons. Hell, I’m stockpiling materials now just in case they add them.…

The level of hype that my FC members and I had last night from watching the keynote from ffxiv/reddit was unreal. This is shaping up to be one of the best MMO surprises of 2017. Let’s hope they can blaze a better trail than with Heavensward.

A fetish for reading subtitles? What makes that any different from watching a foreign film in it’s native language? Wouldn’t it be weird to watch something like Jersey Shore dubbed in Chinese? I don’t think it’s the wrong route to appreciate culture.

I also spotted Ultros, and what looked suspiciously like a Judge. Either they’re spinning a crazy Dark Tower-style crossover web, or the film’s rammed to the gills with fanservice. Either way I’m in :D
