I thought they were amazing pictures and even more amazing clothes, but in more of an artistic sense then a wearable one. But that the fun part of fashion for me. Rihanna, however, could wear those stopping for gas.

I took it as "it is too hard to focus on work and be a mom, so I choose not to work much". Hell, I wouldn't either if that were a choice. At the very least, you have to sort of admire the choice to step away from the machine of easy money because they know that stars fade fast and they might not be able to opt back in…
My comment was specific to why I thought responding with a sniper wasn't out of line. I know zero about how that police department responds to crimes when the suspect is black vs white. That is a whole 'nother conversation and it would not surprise me a bit if they responded differently.
I'm not making a comparison. I only stated that it seemed like a fair response given the situation. I would not be surprised at all if they didn't have a sniper handy when they showed the white boyfriend's house, but that wasn't what my comment was about.
True, I just don't blame them. I have no idea why it was snipers (or a sniper per one posting) and not just regular ole cops. I just hope the babysitter and pals all face actual punishment.
But they should have! They have no idea what they're in for when they're approaching someone like that. That is frightening.
I didn't say they should shoot him, but the fact that they approached him fully armed is not surprising or out of line with what they were told just happened.
This is why I like to keep all of my revenge fantasies in my head. It feels awesome to think through, but I don't end up being the bigger asshole by following through. Poor guy.
To be fair, they were just told that he went into a house with a little girl and a teen and robbed them at gunpoint.
So I guess I'm alone in my love for these ridiculous hats? It just looks like so much fun!
She made out with someone who looks a lot like her sister pre-interventions? That kind of skeeves me out.
Was that Cosmo sex tip #43?
Have you read it lately? The tone and vocabulary they use is targeted towards (my guess) early to mid 20s. I read it here and there and I can barely get through it without some serious eye rolling.
We used to live near a pond and I asked my kids if one of them went in the pond and was drowning would they go in and save them? They answered yes and I said NO wrong answer!! You find an adult because if you go in, you both drown. I thought that was a solid life lesson.
I often tell my children that they need to follow directions because my job is to keep them alive until they're 18.
I need a chart to follow all of this (including other comments in this thread). One thing is clear is that women are disposable commodities and I honestly don't know what is going to change that. So sad.
Baking soda added to your regular face wash.
Yes! A lovely make up counter lady told me to exfoliate maybe twice a week with baking soda. My skin feels great afterwards.
I cannot wait to glue googly eyes on condiments and watch my kids' faces when this happens.
