Schumacher would be pure poison for Star Wars. He is a visionless hack, who has managed a few semi-competent films. None of the titles you reference hold up to repeated viewings. I never bought that Whedon was any kind of saint. I never patronized his work based on the “contribution” I felt he was making to feminine or any other “ism.” It’s fucking entertainment.
