I just realized in this episode after viewing the headstones in Mrs. Murray’s madness that Mina Murray is Mina Harker. Duh.

Wesley does reference known MCU superheroes when mocking the Russians: “Maybe if he had an iron suit or magic hammer...” In a world where you work with ninjas, blinded slaves, and the Kingpin, I guess badass martial arts skills are not that farfetched for a vigilante and do not rate as a superpower.

It’s quite possible that the press was already there to cover FIFA’s annual congress which is the reason all the FIFA officials were gathered in one place to begin with. The chance to report on the perp walk could just be happy coincidence, at least for the less cynical mind. I do not have a less cynical mind.
