I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they probably don't care.
Oooh! Good choice! Best way to make an abomination as brain-melting as possible.
"According to Emmerich, a big part of the problem is the current plan to split the adaptation into three movies."
Charlie, it's like you read my mind sometimes. I'd like to apologize if that's actually the case...
I have to say I'm inclined to agree with most of this. I'm not a huge River Song fan, but it would be entertaining to see a one-off special with just her doing her River thing.
I hope you can hear my applause, 'cause that was VERY well-said!
Nice summary of the various incarnations of the show. It's certainly evolved a lot since 1963.
The direct-to-video movie was complete crap. It was as bad (if not worse) than the Legend of the Rangers (which was an abomination).
Well said!
Charlie, it's like you read my mind. This is exactly the way this show is going. If they could get past the over-the-top sentimental crap, this would be a really good program.
Double double toil and trouble...
Yeah! I was wondering why that looked familiar.
Right there with you! It was a great show in the first season, but the second season was an abomination.
You've brilliantly summed up my objections to the redesign. Thanks!
I caught "Casino Royale", and the villain in that was pretty straightforward and a bit cheesy. Not very... um... "nuanced".
"They're changing the whole thing, the whole dynamic. I'd be playing Bond's nemesis, yes, but it's not that obvious. Everything is more nuanced."
@atrus123: I have to admit, a Ridley Scott science fiction film that isn't attached to an existing franchise excites me a hell of a lot more than another Alien movie.
Wait. They ditched the "Alien" prequel idea? OH THANK GOD!
The only thing I can tolerate about this show at all are Rollo and Orwell.
