I seriously don’t even want to talk to my mom right now. I asked her about the uptick in hate crimes and other racist shit going on right now, and she said “it’ll pass” like it’s just gonna stop because people get bored of being racist or something.

The bizarre thing I’ve encountered here in Seattle is black people happy that “now that we got a real leader in, the Mexicans are gone at I can get a job”.

The GOP complained about Obama being a tyrant the last 8 years.

This is what gets me. Obama was a tyrant, apparently, and they hated that, so they elected a real tyrant, abuser of powers, with NO political experience and documented history of corruption.

You provide your ID or proof of residency when you register. Then when you get to the polls you just give them your name and sign a piece of paper and they hand you your ballot. The voter ID is an additional, intrusive step into the process, making it harder to vote when we should be making it easier.
