The only deaths that match up to Covid in 2020/2021, even at 1/3 of the count for covid associated deaths, are non-infectious disease and accidents...

Demo was fantastic. Whinging Final Fantasy fans - after 2 decades of subpar mainline single player games, are really like “Count me out if the plot might actually make sense.”

That’s not what I’m saying at all. I say that I found it an effective way to use Vader before I say it’s also an effectove spectacle. Spectacle doesn’t just equal bad.

In Netflix’s defense Arcane and Castlevania are two of my favorite animated shows in the last decade, with some great writing and animation.

In canon Vader is running around hunting down Jedi post-RotS. The protagonists end up at the Inquisitor base because they’re trying to reclaim the holocron listing surviving Jedi.

The game’s POV is entirely from Cal’s perspective, there is never a scene where the baddies talk amongst themselves. It is not far-fetched…

Terrible take. Vader showing up reinforces where the real strength of the empire lies. You spend this entire game feeling more and more powerful - then Vader reminds you beating Inquisitors accomplishes jack. That the story doesn’t exist in a vacuum.
