I prefer if it’s stormtroopers doing it. Those guys need a chance to show they can be reasonably competent and hit people once in a while. Have Rogue One be a movie with regular soldier fighting on both sides with minium reference to the Force.

Counterpoint: Midnight Special was an terrible bore, telegraphing its incredibly linear plot trajectory from the first few minutes, and never really deviating from it. I spent the latter 75% of the film wondering if anything was going to happen that I didn’t expect, and was thoroughly unsurprised that nothing did.
