Great post! The Philippines are really the mecca of the jeep world. They are also the biggest supplier of reproduction parts, from chassis to wheels for us who restores them to war spec.

These things are awesome, amazing, shocking, strange, and cool.

Ah the Phillipines... where Jeeps are buses, barracks are hotels, naval docks are jet ski ramps and 6 lane freeways are gridlocked flea markets.

This is an excellent article! I have friends from the Philippines who have Chinese, Spanish, Japanese and American sounding surnames. Very friendly country and everyone speaks English and the Jeepneys perfectly symbolize the Philippines. I want a toy model of one now with a crazy design.
