Unless someone recorded it United HQ cannot know either way. They can interview the flight attendants, who will almost certainly deny it. If she consents United can interview Kehlani and her traveling companion(s) to get their side of the story. If this became a significant legal dispute they might be able to depose

Vanessa, you deserve a Nobel Peace Prize for the work you’re doing here.

That’s not necessarily true. Any decent PR person will tell you that specifically confirming or denying any allegation is a bad move. Whether or not their flight attendant said that word (which obviously none of us know), it would be counter to United’s best interests to say “Our flight attendant did not say nigger.”

I have had it with this motherfucking lack of cameras on this motherfucking plane!

NO.

I'm curious to see what else comes out about this. United is a truly execrable company, but dropping that word? One would have to be committing employment suicide to do that.

So because some woman who got kicked off a plane, a woman who can’t have twitter because it affects her “mental health,” a woman who deletes her initial allegations says that United has racist flight attendants, you automatically assume United has racist flight attendants?

Whenever someone uses all caps I just assume they are wrong.

I don’t even manage the twitter account where I work - I just deal with the actual solutions once the shit happens - and every time the person who does manage it goes “so we got this message” I groan.

I don’t understand.

Since she is not standing behind her statement and in fact, took it down rather quickly, I am guessing the way she said things went down, didn’t exactly go down that way. And I bet someone has a video of the incident and told her to knock it off or else they would post it on youtube.

She believes she’s being misunderstood. Constantly.

as someone who runs a company twitter account, i have stress dreams about this type of scenario

Due to constantly being misunderstood..

A$AP Rocky quote:

I love the shit out of Rih but the whole thing with Rita Ora is fucking weird. I wish someone at Jezebel would actually spell out for us whose boyfriend she stole or whose outfit she copied that one time so we could all get behind the apparent mission of Bringing Rita Ora Down a Peg or Two. I’ve not heard her music

Worried ... Or that your male partners would be intimidated by your vibrator usage?

Even so (and yes, the rush to damn him for saying it while slamming her is weird af), I have a hard time believing that he is unaware that the entire quote is what raised hackles. My read is that he is acknowledging that it was shitty and that he is owning that he said it but the Guardian chose to only go with the

What he said about Rita Ora is WAY worse than this article would have you believe (another commenter provides the complete quote). It’s misogynistic to the max. Not sure why this article is trying to minimize it.

It’s weird to me that the Guardian only quoted half of his Rita Ora reference and left out the far more apology-worthy part. The full quote isn’t just those two lines, there’s also “Kicked the bitch out once cause she bitched out, spit my kids out/Jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce”.
