I'd much rather have this over AAI2. I never even finished the first one. The total lack of Phoenix Wright made me sad. :(
This kind of thinking will only lead to the deaths of more people like Sean. As someone that flew with him in EVE, this is not the kind of things that we should be saying. Such hatred only serves to disgrace his memory.
Have you tried audio via bluetooth when using the A2DP profile? It's way better than standard bluetooth audio, and this surely uses A2DP.

New Zealand cares about American Idol? Anybody cares about American Idol?
True enough. I'm a PC gamer but not playing Diablo 3.. it's easy to just hop over to another game like TF2 since you don't rely upon a monolithic infrastructure.

I've been using GTalkSMS for a few years which basically does the same thing, except it works over Jabber. I have it notify my Google Talk address whenever a phone or a text or phone call comes in, and you can reply to texts from it as well. It's a bit of a pain to set up but when it works, it's pretty great!

Is there a way out of the sandbox with the Apple TV without jailbreaking it, or is it just Apple-sanctioned sources?
Thanks!
That depends. Do you like fun? Do you like space?
Is there any simple way to just get it to play random tracks that I have on my own computer already? I'll never understand why nearly every music player demands that I make a playlist.
