I often see this problem: person is reading a book they feel they “should” read and can’t get through it. If you’re reading- or doing anything- for pleasure, and it’s not pleasurable, then stop doing it. Find another book. Nobody else will know, much less care.

Few jobs are particularly exciting. That’s why they work so hard to manufacture drama on those shows about restoring cars or driving trucks or whatever other genuinely dull job there are shows about. With the right music and editing, you can make anything seem dramatic and exciting enough to fool at least a few couch…

Well, it confirms that Trump isn’t going to do anything differently as President than he did as a businessman. Which isn’t surprising, really, but then that’s why the majority voted against him.

I mean there’s sentences like “white people should definitely wear sunscreen at the beach” which I would assume means all white people, and couldn’t possibly be seen as bigoted, for one example.

I just don’t understand why this sort of thing apparently isn’t considered abuse of 911. Find the woman that made the call and arrest her. A few of those hit the news and maybe some of these idiots will think twice before deciding that not being white is “suspicious”.
