Episode 8 1/2

I'll need to check out his short stories; thanks for the suggestion.
Where was Lane done better? I really want to dive back into that world.

Looks like Orson Hyde beat me to it.
Yu doesn't have a lot out right now, two short story collections and one novel (How to Live Safely…). I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Have you read Standard Loneliest Package by Charles Yu yet? That story gets me every time I read it (as does most his stuff).

I just finished The Ocean at the end of the Lane by Gaiman and loved it to death. It might by my favorite I've read of his so far, the others being Neverwhere and American Gods. It was narrower in scope, but still incredibly imaginative and emotional. I'm thinking of following it up with Dandelion Wine by Bradbury.

I don't actually know much about Larroquette, but I was just curious how he was going to answer Gaffigan's question then continued to read John's question for the next person and got super jealous when he said he met Walker Percy. Paul Rudd?

Fonts can get diseases?

They can't even pick a decent civilization to be colonized by!

And the lady who plays Madea.

I don't think he's ever had an original idea. Sure, he comes up with interesting premises, but completely fails in giving the premise justice. His whole 'mysterious' ad campaigns he uses for every movie is usually just covering for his complete lack of knowing what else to do with the mystery.

"The alarm wasn't supposed to be tripped so early," yelled Ken to Trent.

I used to think so, too, but now I'm not so sure.

I will buy anything with cuttlefish on it. Cephalopods are the most amazing types of creatures on earth.

Is that the movie where Johnny Depp kills people, then plants corn over them?
