I read the Inheritors a few years back and loved it. It was somewhat challenging, but very rewarding, especially the last chapter.

I'm pretty sure it's more just Hollywood lowering the age women are "allowed" to be.

High school teaches people how to hate great art. I don't think I could ever read anything by Shakespeare or Dickens because I was introduced to them in high school.

Looks good, but do I need to see Don't Knock Once to understand this?

Give it a go, because it has gotten good reviews. I think it focused on the mystery plot more than exploring the dystopian world it's set it, which was my problem.

I love the initial premise, but felt it wasn't explored very much. I think I'm just not into mystery books, though because I've attempted other mystery books with great premises that I didn't care for.

It took me six months to read the Brothers Karamazov and it was totally worth it.
