I can’t help but wonder if they will also ban players exploiting the RoadHog’s hook-through-wall glitch that have terrorized competitive games for 3 seasons now?
haha I’m just saying that, far and away, the predominant assumption is that fixing a bug is as easy as flipping the “make the game work right” switch amongst the gaming community, which can usually be characterized as a lot of impatient babies.

To be fair, as an ex-game dev, nobody knows if the fix is easy or not without having the source code. It could be extremely easy. It could be extremely hard. Assume either, and you’re stupid.
It’s a bug. They’re working on it.
They don’t punish you as much for using the glitch, as for breaking an agreement (EULA) where you explicitly agreed not to do so.
