If this was a free car, its still a ‘81 Malibu. The V8 likely makes good noises but its not fast. It cant move out of its own way. Its got a 3-speed. It looks terrible. And its an ‘81 Malibu. CP.

I feel like you are understating just how completely godawful the Chevette was here. Honestly, the Yugo does beat it by a hectare.

I wanted to NP this so badly it hurt. But still, it seems a steep price to pay for a boutique car that can very likely be purchased and imported for less than the asking for this one. I think patience if one wants to have one, is a virtue here. I’d love to have it, but...... I just can’t see $7500.  CP it is.

J-Cabin Mini J by Mystic shown on the back of a Daihatsu K-Pick-up. It can sleep 2 people.

That’s the crackest pipe I’ve seen in a while.

This is why I won’t go to the doctor - he can’t diagnose me if he can’t examine me.

It is difficult to sell a new car to someone who locked into a 72 month (or longer) loan 4 years ago.

Neutral: Hahahahahaha, of course not. Dump $32k (average new car price) on a depreciating asset all so that my neighbors can look over jealously at it while trying to match it with their own brand-new $32k depreciating asset? If anything I’ll be picking up a used sub-$10k Miata, paid for in cash and will enjoy it far

From experience, NEVER turn down a reasonable offer, especially if you have a unique car.

Checked the control arms? I had what I thought was a persistent brake judder in my C5 Avant, but it turned out to be worn bushings.

That stitching is absolutely horrible.

Easy. Stop using them for labor. Pull all foreign industry from their country until they learn to be civilized, or fix their own economy. Basically what every other 1st world country did at some point.

The SS didn’t do itself any favors with it’s bland styling, the thing was pretty much indistinguishable from a Malibu unless you were looking at up close and already knew what it was. Sleeper cars are like hot rods, people don’t want to buy them stock, they want take what’s a normal car and add performance themselves.

It’s because dealerships have no idea what to do with people that come in looking for something unique. All they want to do is pump out the high volume cars, to people who don’t care about anything and will sign up for any payment, if you vary from their very strict box, they have no idea what to do with you. So they

You can get killed crossing the street, I am not going to be scared because bad shit happened to others.

I’ve always suspected that the heavy use of salt is a “rust for clunkers” scheme to sell new cars. And sure we used to rust some sheet metal in AK but not the entire frame of American pickup trucks. I just walked past a S10 in the parking lot at Boyne Highlands that may be shedding it’s bed soon, it’s all kind of

*puts on conspiracy theory hat*

This needs to be a thing again.

Oh I am aware of that, but for a sunny day toy that probably would only see maybe 2-5k miles per year, whatever.

Used to have a Cherokee version of that with the 360 V8, you probably have a 400 in there
