I thought Kermit was a darker grreen and less metallic.

Decades ago there was a trend, a fad, a fleeting fancy of people making double ended cars. Anchorage had a double fronted Chevelle parkd at a major intersection, I don’t know if it ever did run, but if it had been fully implemented it could have driven both direction. It wasn’t the only one but it was the one that the

french toast storm-everyone panic buys bread, milk and eggs.

Growing up in AK meant that snow could happen any time from late August to Memorial day so it has to be pretty damn remarkable. and one year it was. Three feet dumped on us overnight. And, this being AK, where it snowed all the time anyway meant that those of us working for private employers were expected to be at

I’ve had Hankook winter iPikes and Blizzaks, and my seat of the pants pucker meter preferred the Hankooks. I’d have run them on my Bronco if I could have found them. Stick like velcro and wear like iron.

If a person is looking for a classic Mini and can’t afford the British version, then the Italian job will do-and for those who would say ND, keep in mind that I recently (stupidly) sold a BMC LHD Mini for more than this. You would want to check to see how bad the “some rust” is,  but if it were to pass the rust check

That pile of parts boxes is a big tap-out.

Sometimes when you gotta go you gotta go and in some areas there may not be the cover you’d prefer when practicing your penmanship. Some places like MI might call it a sex crime and put you on a registry. If it were me I’d invest in something more sanitary and reusable and not burden hapless roadside clean up crews

I’ve been curious about automotive grade CVT’s but never enough to go look on my own....and much to my surprise it is basically a glorified snowmachine transmission. They might was well leave the belt under a cover and make it a consumable like a sled. If they did it that way owners could go swap out ramps and weights

Pending a cynical and thorough inspection, I’d say NP on this one. Not super good price but just about right for this model.

I haven’t seen most of those vehicles in the wild for ages, some for decades. Most of them didn’t survive my early adulthood, much less the age of men.

“find your aircraft has been updated”

Check the Bond movie “Thunderball” for the next clue.

Irrational NP on this one. It’s a frankencar but it’s a clever and nicely done frankencar. It isn’t quite finished though, swap the spoke rims fir some alloy 5 slots and lose the 1980's cladding on the sides. Maybe get really cheeky and do some wood.

“llok at that cool looking dog over there....oh damn he caught up with us”

Obligatory boomer malaise era survivor vote of CP, ND, FN, what are you thinking, just no.

In with the “very nice but too much money” crew. I lusted after these at the time, but didn’t think they were going to be much of an Alaska car in the winter. They still do look really good after all these decades for sure.

Indian Larry wasn’t going very fast when he needed a helmet and didn’t have one.

The loudest sound on a motorcycle is your helmet scraping across the pavement.
