Our favorite sales associate at the dealership where we bought our Broncos is considering quitting and moving on because she can’t get her orders delivered, and if she can’t get the deliveries she can’t close the deal and make her metrics. We are 4 hours north of the MAP and associated storage lots and it’s been

NP-this is a lot of vehicle for the money. I rented one back in the early oughts and managed to break the first one but the rental company gave me a good one to replace it. It was roomy enough for the family and returned decent economy. Even if it needs some attention it’s not an exotic composed of unobtanium and most

I’d like to love this car but I can’t

When my Bronco arrived after just shy of a year, my dealer didn’t even put the sticker in the window, it was given to me at closing.  No mark up and they made good on the price protection. Good dealers are as rare as chicken lips but they do exist. Sasquatch said he saw a good dealer but nobody believes him.

Not so simple in MI. Insurance here is ridculous.

and then the vendor harassed me endlessly because I didn’t give it 5 stars. Even offered to upgrade to upgrade to generation 2 at no extra charge!

I’ve used Scrubbing Bubbles and it looks like it works better than the stuff discussed.

Boom. I saw it right away too.

Hmmmm, established US automakers scorn the lower end of the market, build vehicles that insult those buyers, then get surprised when Asian manufacturers build the cheap and reliable transportation appliances that segment of public really wanted? I’m old enough to have seen this movie at the theater and the Big 2 1/2

CP, $18K buys me a much bigger and nicer motorhome. This one is fine and all, but its so small you'd have to go outside to change your mind.

“it’s no show car” maybe at a Lotus concours but this would get a big buzz at just about every other event.

I had some high school friends who managed to score some gamma goats. As an offroader they reported they were terrible, getting epically stuck and requiring a lot of effort to free them. Another friend was in the military and his MOS was vehicle extrication and he hated gamma goats with a fury. They look impressive

I have a 74 Mini that absolutely defies any attempt to maintain hydraulic pressure in the bakes. I’ve replaced the master and all wheel cylinders, lines, copper washers, brake shoes, it’s a task I’ve done on other vehicles but that little bastard will not have its brakes bled. It’s insane. I’ve gone on with the damn

Nobody did that to LeBarons back then. You only bought one if you couldn’t afford a Caddy and you weren’t fooling anybody. So, why do it now, put that kind of time and money into it to be told by the buying public the message the air filter is giving? ND.

Our local dealer issued the wifely one a Mach-e as a loaner, so we took it out for a spin. And quite a spin it was! We turned the dial to “unbridaled” mashed the pedal and had a giggle at the 30 to 90 whoosh time, I don’t think we’ve ever been launched like that in anything with 4 wheels.

You can rent a carraige, and everyone should try it sometime. Or a just rent a horse.

Fudgies and other tourons make life unpleasant for those of us who reside in NoMi. Everywhere you go you end up dodging e-bikes ridden by people who think they’ve discovered some loophole that allows them to zip around everywhere without expending actual physical effort, and of course on the Island where part of the

Oh come on now. 2 WD, 2.5 and a whiny gearbox?Any of those alone would ND this, having all 3 for $5K is a trifecta of silly.

I learned the basics back in college as I thought I would be doing this as a living, well that didn’t quite work out but with a command of the basics and access to the shop manuals in the days before the internet and now youtube university I haven’t ever had to farm out anything beyond tire work and machine shop work.

What you might find is that one removes the front engine brace and uses a ratchet strap to rotate the engine forward. There is always a way.
