well, I kind of agree, but the payoff at the end of season 1 changes it all, and a re-watch kind of changes how you see everything. But while it was happening, I’m with you - I wasn’t that impressed.

Fox News, and the conservative media apparatus, doesn’t deal in reasoned disagreement. It deals with gut-level appeals to emotion. That usually means a good deal of bullying.

I think that’s fair. I personally prefer 1 over 2, but I can see why people would say that. Season 3 is nowhere close to either of them, though. The writing has been atrocious. The acting for the most part has been bad. Story line boring and predictable.
