What are your sources about the pricing dropping on a 2018 model? Do you mean in depreciation? If not, usually the new generations ask a 2% increase, so even if your 1-3k prediction was right for depreciation, it would be null. I actually thoroughly enjoy my ‘16 A3 Quattro! It has a fair share of understeer, but it’s not bad at all if you know how to modulate the tail with lift-off throttle! I have fun when it rains because of AWD powerslides! When I need to have more fun, I’ll just take my Miata out.
