As a current Miata owner.... holy smokes, this would’ve been so badass. I would’ve been able to say that I am a Daihatsu owner in another dimension.

We can only speculate that Mazda will be smart enough to compensate by adding some more horsepower and also a stiffer suspension layout... here’s to hoping. Regardless, I will be picking one up within a few years. There’s always aftermarket to fix issues.

That happened a while back. Nissan/Infiniti settled and said that Audi cannot make anymore ‘Q’ models then just two (Q5 and Q7). Well, that was back in 2006 and here I am slinging Q3's, Q5's, Q7's and soon to be the Q6 and Q8.... Still no word from Nissan!
