It looks like a Porsche 928 was getting a little kimchi on the side. ...And I’m OK with that... It’s certainly distinctive from all the other SUVs. And that interior? Daum. ...I’ve got to say I’m liking what Genesis is doing.
It’s a GV70...
My biggest complaint about modern automotive design, besides floating roof C-pillar treatments, is that steering wheels don’t get enough love. They’re all so boring.
Genesis has heard my complaint apparently. I love that 2 spoke wheel. Open at the bottom so I can rest my hand comfortably while cruising. Stylishly…
Yeah, I think the fact that you have a lot of fully-loaded vans with driving dynamics quite different from a passenger car often being driven by rookie drivers (of that type of vehicle), late at night, rushing to or from some event....I’m sure there were inherent safety risks with the platform/design, but driver…
Just finished building a roadtrip camper van with a GMC Savana.
One very interesting comment you made:
*sees the fans on the roof*
“LOOK AT THIS SHIT!”
Just bring them over with only three wheels and call it a shitty trike, it’ll come with a full size spare that an independent shop can install for $20, boom no safety testing needed. Everyone is barking about safety but these would be as safe as a motorcycle. And nothing is really safe from that lifted brodozer with…
I still contest that they would sell the snot of of something like this in the US if it could be federalized (it probably can’t, blah blah blah safety).
Why not just have Calvin peeing on that dumb Trix rabbit?
Personally, the eco-minded FIAT 500 variant that i’m sad about the U.S. not getting is the Twin-air.
1. It’s the bumper cover.
Nothing says “confidence in the longevity of our product” like cutting the warranty to roughly 1/5 what it was
In theory I really like this thing. Small yet can seat 4 people . Sporty, but still but still very affordable. Funky, but still very practical with the hatch and economy car bones.
But it’s still in a really weird place price wise. I would have loved this when I was in college, but had no chance of affording it new.…
As someone for whom this segment had been his professional lifeblood for a few years before the demise of the ST/RS, I am frankly shocked by the hot hatch price rises over the course of the past few years. I’ll grant that overall car prices are rising to account for, in addition to other things, shit tons of standard…
100 miles would easily be enough for my week commute. I could charge it on the weekends while using a gasoline, fun car for the Saturday and Sunday. Would buy if it where available here in Brazil (with a competitive price).
I could happily commute in this for the next 20 years, if the seats are decent. Small, efficient, easy to park, no extra bullshit, buttons and knobs for controls, and practically maintenance-free? Sign me up. 140 miles is plenty of range for 99% of my driving; I’ll just plug it in every night Or, hell, every 2-3 nights…
Seeing how I rarely go much faster than 100kmh Eco all the time would be the way to go. I’m not a fan of the compact crossover body style but I’ve seen way worse. I think they won’t be able to build them fast enough.
I enjoyed our Leaf during the time we had it, but the battery management was just not up to snuff with the previous generation of Leafs. The battery capacity gradually declined during the time we had it- not fun to see.
