There are currently nearly 700 supercharger stations in the US (nearly 2,000 stalls). The number of stalls is growing at about the same rate as Tesla car sales. During the Model 3 unveil the company announced that they planned to nearly double the number of Superchargers (currently just over 4,000, announced to be

This is exactly why I bought a minivan a couple years ago, even though I only have one kid - we’re 1000 miles away from the family (both sides), so it’s mainly trips at Christmas, for a couple weeks, means lots of luggage, lots of crap that gets brought back... and that van also means extra elbow room in general (many

My GF’s plug-in hybrid (a C-Max) doesn’t even run the gas engine unless she hits the highway. Around town, to work (5 mins each way) and to the store and for errands, it’s always in electric mode. She plugs it in every night, and that’s pretty much normal... the 87%. The gas is there for the not-normal stuff. She only

Im flabbergasted by the number of people who think this is “ugly”. I think its the first honda I can recall that I’d call “sexy”. In fact in the real world with normal people, I can’t tell you how many people have said, “Wow have you seen that new civic? it looks awesome”.

Hondas suffered from looking just like every

IMHO best looking car in the segment and probably the best looking honda ever made....

I just pray that the Type R comes in that awesome bright yellow color. if so, I’m in for one!

They are not. They are Opel Omegas, completely different platform, called the GM V platform, which was initially developed at Opel in the 1960s. This platform, with modifications, was used in Australia until 2007, but never in the US.

It’s literally stunning in person. I stopped moving to look at it.

Bob Lutz and friends made a ‘Vette powered one, but thats not this obviously. Oh and I strongly disagree with it being ugly.

.

Honda s660 please!

It’s included on a suppliment to the 2nd Amendment.

He’s in my garage. Ok, not as small as an original 500, but pretty tiny.

Dang. Good for Honda. Now I want the S660 as much as I want the Beat.

Congressionally mandated safety items pretty much did it. Some person said loud enough “there ought to be a law! think of the children!” and bam... now its mandatory.

Which if safety was the ultimate issue, why would they allow older vehicles to continue driving?

It’s a giant cliché but it makes no sense you can buy a new Honda 600RR crotch rocket but you can’t buy a new equivalent of a Honda S600 sports car.

I want small cars. I am people.

i still am waiting for a coherent argument why motorcycles are legal but stripped down airbagless cars arent

they live in japan

People don’t want small cars, period.

My Fiesta hatch 1 liter is 2600 lbs, a Mazda 2 is 2400. It’s as close to an old Mk2 GTI as you can get from a chassis dynamics perspective.

I love the hell out of the Fiesta, but people always ask “ You make good money, why do you drive such a small car?” They don’t get it.
