I wonder how many millions of dollars VW is paying him to do the same amazing things that he has done for Cadillac.

I am all about hating on Trump but for god sakes, leave the Metro out of it! My girl does not deserve to be in the same sentence as that troll.

Hey hey hey! Don’t talk smack about my Metro! It is slightly safer than a bike or a motorcycle. The people who listen to anything this dude says are the type that have the reading comprehension skills of a 3rd grader.

I think they look pretty good. I would totally drive this Camry over a crossover if I had a family to lug around and wanted to be a bit different.

24 more horsepower, but also worse resale value and reliability than a Camry!

If that body is rust free, it’s a nice price all day long. The mechanical bits will all be swapped out for more modern items that will make it faster and handle better than was ever intended originally.

Hopefully it will come with a special tool to clean those wheels! Not that most people clean their wheels anyway. So I guess we have to look forward to even more brake dust covered front wheels in the future than we already do.

I always had Hyundais and Kias in my household and we never had any issues that were anything major. 2008 Kia Rio needed a wheel bearing after 40,000 miles that was replaced under warranty and because I like to obsessively clean my cars I went a little hard on the power washer when cleaning the engine bay and a coil

100%. In a previous comment, I said that cars without names evoke no emotion. As an example I was trying to think of the name of Acuras biggest most luxurious car and the only thing that came into my head was Legend. I would have to look it up to see what it is but I don’t care enough to do that.

You nailed it! I was just going to say that Cadillac evokes no emotion because their cars have NO NAMES! Does anyone really care about a car named with letters and numbers? What average person can tell you the difference between a CT6 and an XTS? I bet you could ask people what a Fleetwood, a DeVille or an Eldorado is

It is damning and I agree with it 100%. I would absolutely take a Genesis over a current Cadillac. It’s sad, because I know that there are Cadillacs that have better performance figures, but it is just now how I see Cadillac. Now, if I wanted a huge luxobarge that has a highway ride best compared to riding on a cloud,

Honestly, it depends on what they were asking for one of them. I can name a few people that would buy one, though! My in-laws, parents, friends of my parents and my friends parents. I would buy theirs after they drive it for 5 years and put their 25,000 miles on it.

Love it. But, I would like it even more if they got rid of some of the cameras and touchscreens and it had a 200 mile range. When it comes to electric cars, range is the most important thing, not annoying screens everywhere.

To me, a real Cadillac will always be a big, plush, velour lined boat. My grandparents always had Cadillacs and that is what I expect (minus the smell of Virginia Slims and Aquanet) from them. Sure it is fine to have cars that try to compete with BMW and so on but can we also get something like a big floaty Fleetwood

It’s been 2 years away for about 20 years now.

I am talking about making the Land Cruiser a completely different vehicle. They are coming out with a new Tacoma soon and it could be built on shortened version of that frame. I am not talking about making it some bespoke handcrafted masterpiece. I just want them to keep the nameplate alive and put on something that

That is very true. I have actually never had a car that people would consider “fast” but to me they were just fine. My commute currently is about one mile so on most days I don’t have a need to go over 35mph. When I do need to hit the highway it is usually on a weekend when the traffic is light and there is no need to

It’s pretty much the only car I am 100% ok with working on myself. I love cars but have always had new ones so there was never a need to do anything to them. But this is just so damn easy and spacious, I can do it all myself without fear of messing something up since there is not much to it.

Toyota would not be smart to get rid of this nameplate. Maybe they should be working on a smaller, more affordable, but just as capable Land Cruiser that competes with wrangler more than Land Rover. Let the Sequoia be their big and most expensive SUV.

I had to save it from some teenager getting it and putting Walmart spinning hubcaps on it as well as a spoiler from a Honda Civic. Oh and plastidip stripes!
